PLT Holding


Pursuant to Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”), PLT Holding S.r.l., as data controller, provides this notice regarding the processing of personal data carried out in the context of users (“Users”) browsing its website (“Site”) and performed through the use of cookies, in accordance with the cookie policy.

  1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is PLT Holding S.r.l., with registered office at Via Chiaravalle 7/9, 20122 Milan, Italy, Tax Code and VAT No. 04455950404, contactable by email at pltholding@pec.it (“PLT”, the “Company” or the “Controller”).

  1. Categories of personal data processed

The Controller processes the data collected during the User’s browsing of the Site, namely the following browsing data: logs, IP address and browser.

The data are collected through technical cookies installed on the Site.

  1. Purposes of the processing

Users’ personal data will be processed to ensure access to and use of the content offered by the Site.

Users’ personal data will be processed in order to allow the use of the content offered by the Site and in particular to:

  1. ensure the proper functioning of the Site;
  2. ensure constant maintenance of the Site;
  3. allow the User to browse the Site and interact with its various sections and features, including, for example, contact forms.

The legal basis for the processing is the pursuit of PLT’s legitimate interest in ensuring the proper functioning of the Site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The provision of data for the purposes indicated is necessary for the use of the services offered by the Site.

  1. Data retention period

The technical cookies installed are normally session cookies (non-persistent) that are deleted at the end of the browsing session.

  1. Scope of circulation and recipients of the data

Personal data may be communicated for the purposes described to third-party companies and/or other entities (for example, the Site’s hosting provider, IT service providers, etc.) that carry out outsourced activities on behalf of the Controller, in their capacity as data processors.

  1. Data transfer

The data will not be transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).

  1. Data subjects’ rights

Pursuant to Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, the User, as a data subject, may exercise specific rights by contacting the Controller, including:

  • right of access: the right to obtain from the Controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them are being processed and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and the information provided for by Art. 15 GDPR;
  • right to rectification: the right to obtain from the Controller the rectification of inaccurate personal data or the completion of incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR);
  • right to erasure: the right to obtain the deletion of personal data in the cases provided for by Art. 17 GDPR;
  • right to restriction of processing: the right to obtain restriction of processing in the cases provided for by Art. 18 GDPR;
  • right to data portability: the right to receive the data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit them to another controller (Art. 20 GDPR).

The User also has the right to object, in whole or in part, for reasons related to their particular situation and in the cases provided for by the GDPR, to the processing of personal data concerning them (Art. 21 GDPR).

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, a User who believes that the processing concerning them infringes the GDPR has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority as provided for by Art. 77 GDPR.
