PLT Holding S.r.l., the investment holding company of the Tortora family, which directly and through its shareholders and subsidiaries holds more than 1.2% of the ordinary shares of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, announces that it has submitted a list of 12 candidates for the renewal of the Bank’s Board of Directors, as well as a list for the renewal of the Board of Statutory Auditors.

The objective is to complete the implementation of the industrial plan already outlined for Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, by providing a range of skills that can help accelerate the full realization of the effects of the ongoing "transformational" operation and, at the same time, seize any external growth opportunities that may arise.

This list of candidates, while ensuring consistency between competencies and the defined objectives, is capable to guarantee the successful completion of a complex and innovative operation that requires in-depth knowledge of the two entities involved and stability in leadership.
