The beginning of a new chapter in Al Caminetto’s history.
PLT Holding is proud to unveil the new brand identity of the historic Milano Marittima restaurant. The comprehensive rebranding project goes far beyond a visual restyling: it is a strategic evolution designed to enhance one of the most iconic venues on the Italian Riviera and support its growth in the years ahead.
Founded in 1970, Al Caminetto has been one of the most distinguished names in the Italian Riviera dining for more than fifty years. Across generations, the restaurant has remained true to its identity, becoming a point of reference for guests seeking quality, authenticity and a culinary offering deeply rooted in the local area. Acquired by PLT Holding in 2025 through PLT Food, Al Caminetto marks the starting point of a new entrepreneurial journey for the Group in the restaurant sector.
Emma Godani, CEO of PLT Food S.r.l., comments:
“From the moment of the acquisition, the Group’s objective has been to preserve the restaurant’s historic value while equipping it with contemporary tools, language and codes capable of strengthening its positioning and supporting its future evolution. The new identity represents a major milestone in the brand’s development, reinforcing its positioning and laying the foundations for international growth, with future openings planned in New York and Dubai.”.
The brand identity was developed in collaboration with
CBA, an international agency specialising in branding, through an extensive process of research and consultation involving customers, team members and the many people who have contributed to Al Caminetto’s iconic status over the years. This dialogue brought the brand’s identity into sharp focus: since 1970, Al Caminetto has embodied the pleasure of being together, authentic conviviality, generosity at the table and a deep connection with the Italian Riviera.
The new identity does not introduce a new story; it gives form and coherence to what Al Caminetto has always been. It also gives rise to the brand’s new tagline: “Since 1970, a taste of the Italian Riviera.” A statement that captures its connection to the region, the continuity of its history and the ambition to carry that legacy into the future.
The new identity was officially unveiled on 22 July across every offline and online expression of the brand: the logo, signage, tableware, menus, website, communication materials, digital presence and overall brand experience. The result is a coherent and distinctive system designed to present Al Caminetto through a contemporary lens while preserving the character, recognition and values that have made it a landmark of the Italian Riviera.
Alongside the launch of the new identity, Al Caminetto’s online communications are also entering a new phase. Social media strategy and channel management have been entrusted to
AR, an agency specialising in PR and communications. The team will support the brand in developing an editorial narrative aligned with the new identity and designed to celebrate its history, culinary culture and connection to the region.
